If you’re about to fall in love with a flight attendant, fasten your seatbelt and prepare for an upcoming adventure.

Like all relationships there are ups and downs and our relationship was far from perfect.

Read on as I share with you my top 10 reasons I fell in love with a flight attendant.

It’s going to be a roller coaster ride, I tell you.

Why I Fell In Love With A Flight Attendant

1 She Is Beautiful

Not that I want to sound superficial. But let’s be honest, cabin crew are typically very good looking people. Once you love one, she turns out to be the most beautiful among them all!

2  She’ll Always Be Stunning

Even after a 15-hour flight, you’ll see them strutting through the arrival terminals anywhere in the world looking gorgeous and impeccable. How the heck do they do that?

After a long flight, I usually look like a zombie. I’d be jetlagged for days. But not she. After just a night’s sleep, she’ll be fresh and ready for another flight the day after.

3 She Speaks A Foreign Language(s)

Flight attendants for Middle Eastern airlines come from all over the world. Apart from English, they speak their native tongue and, most likely, another foreign language.

She spoke 4 languages!

4 She Has Discounts At Thousands Of Hotels

You’ll see how many discounts they can enjoy worldwide. Didn’t I say it was going to be an adventure?

It’s been always a pleasure to discover new places.

5 You’ll Get Cheaper Tickets Every Time You  Travel

All airlines staff enjoy discounted tickets as part of their benefits. Luckily, most airlines offer Buddy Passes where friends and relatives of staff can also have lower-priced airfare.

I can’t express clear enough how we enjoyed amazing weekends in magical places around the world using these tickets.

6 She’s An Expert At Holiday Planning

Before you finish typing in “where to go for my holidays” on Google search, she already has 20+ suggestions of countries you should visit along with the activities to do or places to see.

7 She’ll ‘Smuggle’ Anything From Anywhere For You

Who else can make sure that you’ll get a fresh French baguette, an authentic bottle of South African wine and a real Sushi box all in one week?

8 She Is Used To Dealing With The Worst Situations

Most of us see flight attendants as mere waiters in the air (myself included when we first started dating).

Nothing is farther from the truth. They do much more than that.

Their job is to make sure that hundreds of people from all sorts of race, religion, culture, social status, and age don’t kill each other when they are trapped together on a tiny airplane for hours in a row.

Can you just imagine the kind of chaos they have to face up there?

Drunk, afraid, bored, smelly, annoying people. It’s much more than we could possibly fathom.

She’s seen it all. How low a human being can behave won’t come to her as a surprise anymore. But grace is still her number one attribute.

9 She Handles A Job Much More Difficult Than Yours

On a weekly basis they sleep in different time zones and deal with hundreds of people. Plus, every time they put on their uniforms, they put their health and lives at risk. But at the end of the month, they’re underpaid and unappreciated.

Yet, she still manages a killer smile. I just melt.

10 You’ll Become Her Home

If you’re dating a flight attendant who lives away from her home, like I did, be sure that she’ll invest a lot into your relationship. You’re most probably going to become her home away from home.

Something I really shouldn’t be complaining about.

I learned to appreciate her and what she does for a living. Like any other girl, she’ll most likely be moody. But just think about what she has to cope with on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

She’s going to be happy while with you yet feel homesick. She could be surrounded by new-found friends yet still feel lonely. She wants you to be there but will also demand some time alone.

But it’ll be worth every moment.
