In love with a flight attendant

If you’re about to fall in love with a flight attendant, fasten your seatbelt and prepare for an adventure.

Like all relationships, there are ups and downs and ours is far from perfect.

Read on as I share with you my top 10 reasons I fell in love with a flight attendant.

It’s going to be a roller-coaster ride, I tell you.

Why I Fell In Love With A Flight Attendant

1 They Are Beautiful

I don’t want to sound superficial or stereotypical. But let’s be honest, cabin crew are typically good-looking people.

2  They’ll Always Be Stunning

Even after a 15-hour flight, you’ll see them strutting through the arrival terminals anywhere in the world looking gorgeous. How the heck do they do that?

In the end of a long flight, I usually look like a zombie. I’d be jetlagged for days. But not them.

After just a night’s sleep, they’ll be fresh and ready for another flight.

3 They Speak A Foreign Language(s)

Flight attendants for Middle Eastern airlines come from all over the world. Apart from English, they speak their native tongue and, most likely, another foreign language.

My partner can speak 4 languages!

4 They Have Discounts At Thousands Of Hotels

You’ll see how many discounts they can enjoy worldwide. Didn’t I say it was going to be an adventure?

It’s always exciting to discover new places.

5 You’ll Get Cheaper Tickets Every Time You Travel

All airlines staff enjoy discounted tickets as part of their benefits.

Luckily, most airlines offer Buddy Passes where friends and relatives of staff can also have lower-priced airfare.

We enjoyed amazing weekends in magical places around the world using these tickets.

6 They Experts At Holiday Planning

Before you finish typing in “where to go for my holidays” in Google search, they already have 20+ suggestions of countries you should visit along with the activities to do or places to see.

7 They Can “Smuggle” Anything From Anywhere For You

Who else can make sure that you’ll get fresh French baguette, an authentic bottle of South African wine and real Japanese Sushi all in one week?

8 They Are Used To Dealing With The Worst Situations

Most of us see flight attendants as mere waiters in the air (myself included when we first started dating).

Nothing is farther from the truth. They do much more than that.

Their job is to make sure that hundreds of people from all sorts of race, religion, culture, social status, and age don’t kill each other when trapped together inside a flying metal tube.

Can you just imagine the kind of chaos they have to face up there?

Drunk, afraid, bored, smelly, annoying people. It’s much more than we could possibly fathom.

They’ve seen it all. How low a human being can behave won’t surprise them anymore.

9 Their Job Is A Health-Risk

On a weekly basis they sleep in different time zones and deal with hundreds of people.

Every time they put on their uniforms, they put their health and lives at risk.

But at the end of the month, they’re underpaid and unappreciated.

Yet, they still manage a killer smile.

10 You’ll Become Their Home

If you’re dating a flight attendant who lives away from their home, be sure that they’ll invest a lot into your relationship.

You’re most probably going to become their home away from home.

I learned to appreciate them and what they do for a living.

They can be moody, like anyone else. But just think about what they have to cope with on a daily basis.

I realized they can be happy while with you yet, sometimes, still feel homesick. They could be surrounded by new-found friends and still feel lonely.

They’d want you to be there but will also demand some time alone.

But it’ll be worth every moment.
