As it battles back against coronavirus travel restrictions, long-haul carrier Virgin Atlantic launched an urgent recruitment campaign to fill 400 additional cabin crew roles.

In 2021, the airline welcomed over 750 returning cabin crew who were placed in a holding pool following Covid-related layoffs, with another 230 anticipated to return in the first quarter of 2022.

For the first time in nearly two years, the airline is free to recruit externally given the significant measures being done to alleviate travel restrictions around the world.

The positions will be filled on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
